Congratulations. I have wasted $45 so far.

I bought the plug and play package, so I haven't need to know anything yet. I did go through it. I'm sure I will use it in the future.

I typically order a belt clip for all of my batteries. I also ordered one for my 12VDC Battery Eliminator. Most all of the mounting options I have seen for installing a portable radio in a vehicle, make use of a belt clip to secure the radio. Therefor my suggestion would be that Bridgecom Systems give some consideration to offering a Battery Eliminator kit consisting of the battery eliminator and a belt clip. This optional kit would be in addition to the current option to order the battery eliminator without the belt clip if so desired.

Well I have not been able to use it yet because I am waiting on a duplexer for it

This is my first BCM-144, but I have two BCM-220's. I'm really impressed with the quality of the radio! Data modes are outstanding!!

I bought the 878uvII plus and I love this radio. It was easy to program and get up and running using BridgeCom University. I like the Bluetooth function, it made talking in the car super easy. I was just sitting here in my Ham Shack looking at both of my HT's and I thought..."wish I would have bought this radio 1st"...could have saved some money!

The 868 and its charger work very well. I am - and have been since day one - been very pleased. Thank you. 73, George
